About Me

Chris Clay is a Builder Solution Specialist for 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty (2-10 HBW) New Home Division covering Dallas-Fort Worth, East Texas, West Texas, and Oklahoma. Born and raised in Corpus Christi, TX in a home building family, Chris has spent his entire professional career in the insurance and risk management space working closely with public, private, national, regional, and local builders. With a deep understanding of the construction industry and how to manage risk, Chris is passionate about building relationships and delivering solutions that make a difference for his clients. He values relationships, enjoys networking, and brings a collaborative approach to every partnership. Chris is active in his local community and has served on the Dallas Builders Association Board of Directors since 2020. He is a 4-time recipient of the Dallas BA’s prestigious “Shorty Howard Grand Membership Award”. In 2025, Chris helped create the “Greater Denton County Builders Division” of the Dallas BA. Chris also serves on the board of the Texas Association of Builders and is a member of the Greater Fort Worth Builders Association, West Texas Builders Association, and the Central Oklahoma Home Builders Association. Chris played baseball and graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He lives with his wife and daughter in the DFW area and enjoys running, working out, traveling, and barbecuing.
