About Me

Keith Perkins is a Risk Management Specialist for 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty® (2-10 HBW®) New Home Division covering Maryland, Virgina, and Washington, D.C. He entered the field because he loves that the home building industry provides a product that is essential to everyone: a home. Keith provides his builders protection with the 2-10 HBW insurance-backed structural warranty, helping them manage their risk and sell homes faster. Licensed in property and casualty insurance, he is an associate member of MBIA, NVBIA, HBA of Richmond, and HBA of Virginia. Before coming to 2-10 HBW, Keith worked in a community-based program serving adults with long-term mental illness. The program provided housing, employment services and day activities. Keith has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Salisbury State University. An avid sports enthusiast, Keith has coached boys youth tackle football and girls youth basketball since the 1990s. He also has an interest in history and once considered becoming a high school social studies teacher.
